Tonights class (Wednesday)

Tonights class is still on at Elswick, but will be taught by someone other than Dave.. He is off to a bash for Tyrones young achievers. So if there is no one there if your turning up early for class hang around cos it's still on!

Upcoming fights

Been a bit slow on the news front recently so thought I'd post a bit info about whats coming up..You all probably know already after seeing our beastings at the hands of Ingolf and Dave lol, but on the 7th December at the Marton Hotel in middlesboro on a show called 'Cagefighting Championships' Steve Stringfellow, Mark Platts and myself are fighting MMA.

Steve is fighting for a pro (middleweight I think) title, Mark is defending his semi-pro 62kg (dont know the name of that weight!) belt and I'm having my amateur debut fight. If anybody wants tickets see any of us so we can order them for you.

Northern open cancelled

For some reason.. Don't ask me why.. they have can canceled the northern open which was in for the 6th Dec.. Here's a copy of Jude's post from the EFN forums.

Due to an oversight, EFN have decided to pull the Northern Open. The weekend of December 6 - 7th clashes with the Combat Academy: Gi Ground-fighting in Hereford, so it was thought best to pull the event all together.

Good watching

A good 8 minutes of rolling I captured on video on Saturday with the 2 Elliott's .. Definitely worth watching.

No training Wednesday

Just to remind everyone there is no training this coming Wednesday (5th Nov) with it being bonfire night the pool closes for the fireworks display. If your local is worth a look in apparently its usually quite the show! Rest of the weeks classes as normal.
