Results from a busy weekend

Well done to all the guys who competed this weekend.

In MMA on Saturday both Gav and Bri were unlucky in their fights.

In BJJ - Dan won his first three fights before going out in the semi's, Joe won twice before being eliminated in the quarters, Lisa had a straight final and won the women's featherweight, James fought a round robin and defeated both of his opponents to win the blue super super, Tyrone, Neil and Ayleigh were all unlucky in the first matches.

Busy Weekend

A busy weekend this week everyone.

On Saturday Bri Blewitt and Gav Bradley are both fighting MMA on the Total Combat show at the Rainton Meadows Arena.

Sunday sees the second Northern Open taking place in Birmingham.

Northern Open Next Week

The Northern Open is Sunday 25th November - a week this Sunday. If you are planning on going you need to go to www.bjj.eu.com if you want to register pretty sharpish.

The venue is the Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre and Golf Course, Alcester Road South, Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14 6ER.

The usual weight categories apply and they are running adults and masters for white and blue belts but only adults for purple belts.

Last years Northern Open was a good event and this year looks like it will have more entries.

NEW BELTS

Marc gave another top quality seminar and at the end their were five new belts given out.

Blue belts were awarded to Lee (Mills), Andy, Baz and Jimmy.

The fifth belt was awarded to Bri Blewitt who was presented with his purple belt.
